Aptis Listening Test

Listening section of the test which is a selective section of the test has 25 questions with the total time limit of 55 minutes for this section.

The audio recording can be played(optional) up to two times in a computerised test and played twice in the paper-based test.

Scoring:

Listening section is scored based on a correct or incorrect answer. You are assigned 1 marks for a correct answer and zero for the incorrect or no attempt.

The total time allocated for the Listening section is 55 minutes

Type of Questions:

Word and number recognition: You have to identify specific information(word or a number) after listening to a short audio recording. You are assigned with 3-option multiple-choice question in this type of question.

Identifying specific, factual information: You have to identify specific information(factual information) after listening to a short audio conversation or a monologue.

Inference: You have to identify a specific attitude. Intention or opinion of the speaker/s after listening to a short audio conversation or a monologue. You are assigned with 3-option multiple-choice question in this type of question.
